How To Check The Hyundai Elantra Not Cranking?

This trouble hard to think but if you found out the problem it is easy.

 How To Check The Hyundai Elantra Not Cranking.

Model: Hyundai Elantra (HD)

Year Model: 2011

Fuel : Gasoline

Displacement: 1600cc

Subject: Engine not Cranking and immobilizer indicator Off – EM 11 Connector disconnected.

1) Condition

  1. Engine not cranking.
  2. Immobilizer indicator Off.

2) Cause

  1. Due to disconnected wiring at EM11 connector located at front passenger under the glove box

3) Diagnosis

  1. Check by Scan tool.
    = Trouble found.
  2. Check voltage = Ok
  3. Starter relay not working or clicking when turn the ignition key to start position.
  4. Check all fuses = OK
  5. Visually check.
    = Since the car is brand new only 3026 km i don’t think that there are shorted wire.but the plastic carpet that put from other workshop got my attention to think of it
  6. Check for I/P fuse box connector = OK no problem.
  7. Check the connector from under glove box one wire connector loosed not properly connected. EM11

4) Repair Guides

  1. Reconnect EM 11 connector  and try to start = immediately start the engine.
