How to check if automatic transmission shock shifting.

This day i have trouble shooting regarding on Hyundai accent 2010 automatic transmission shock shifting.

Model: Hyundai Accent

Year Model: 2010

Fuel : Gasoline

Displacement: 1400cc

Subject: How to check if automatic transmission shock shifting in 1st gear.

1) Condition.

  1. Automatic gear box delayed shifting.
  2. Shock shifting on 1st to 2nd gear.

2) Cause.

  1. Due to low level of Automatic oil.
  2. Automatic transmission oil pan bolt loosed.

3) Diagnosis.

  1. Scan tool check.
    = No trouble found by GDS (Global Diagnostic System)
  2. Perform road test to confirm the problem = confirmed delayed and shock shifting.
  3. Check for current data
    = solenoid valve one is delayed to switch on.
  4. Check for automatic oil = the level is lower than empty.
  5. Lift up the car by to check oil leaking = oil leaking from the oil pan bolt.
  6. Repair loosed bolt and clean then add oil.
  7. 2nd time to road test = The problem was gone. 

4) Repair Guides

  • Retightened bolt, Add oil and clean oil leak underneath.
