How to repair the engine no acceleration and check engine indicator on

 

Model: Hyundai Sonata

Year Model: 2009

Fuel: Gasoline

Displacement: 2400cc

Subject: Engine no acceleration and check engine indicator “ON”.

 

1)Condition

1. Engine no acceleration and check engine indicator ON.

2) Cause

1. Due to APS (Acceleration Position Sensor).

3) Diagnosis

1. Scan tool check
   - P0638 Throttle actuator control range performance.
   - P2110 Limp home mode force limited RPM.
2. Try to erase the code = Ok
3. Check the current data of APS Acceleration Position Sensor)
   =  The data is 0%
4. Replace with new APS.
5. The problem disappear.

4) Replace Parts

1. Replace AP Sensor
