I don't want to replace the airbag after it deployed, is it possible to get remove the airbag and fix/mend the steering wheel? I would like to replace the coverage for it if it can't be mend. You know, the middle part of the steering wheel where you honk the horn. Do you know where I can find it and the correct term for it? My car is a 1998 Honda Accord LX 4 doors. The car is old so it is a waste of money to get it fix with new parts. I'm willing to buy a used one from salvage, no air bag is needed. I'd really appreciate it if you can help me with this. I have no clue where to buy the coverage without replacing the airbag for under $100.
sorry for the long time not answering your question sir, no you can't replace only the airbag from the steering wheel you have to replace it assembly with steering.no need to replace a new. buy a second hand steering wheel with air bag with that same model.
